Mollie Crocker is a financial advisor with over 25 years of experience. She is a Certified Financial Planner™professional, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. She understands the special problems people face that are going through divorce and other transitions. Mollie takes a compassionate and practical approach to help people demystify financial issues.
Mollie grew in Morristown NJ. Having lost her father at the age of ten, the impact on her family made an impression and guides her today. Mollie attended Randolph-Macon Women’s College (Now Randolph College) in Lynchburg, Virginia. A couple of years after school, she started her career in the financial services with Morgan Stanley in NYC. After marrying her husband, they moved to Chicago. When their first child was born they moved back to Maryland to be closer to family and have been in Howard County ever since.

Alyssa Schlafstein was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. After working as a paralegal at a prominent firm in Rockville, Alyssa returned to school to obtain her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and received five prestigious "CALI" awards for earning the top grade in her class.
In 2016, Alyssa began working for Ruben Law Firm as a family law paralegal and is now the supervising attorney of our Clarksville Office where she focuses on family law matters and Will preparation. Alyssa resides in Howard County where she enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.

David Ruben is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, and has lived and worked in the Baltimore Metropolitan area since 1989. He is a husband and father of three children. Mr. Ruben inherited his strong work ethic and sense of compassion for those in need from his father and hero, a pharmacist, who owned and operated an independent drug store in Washington DC for nearly 40 years.
With an undergraduate degree in finance and economics and as a doctor of jurisprudence, Mr. Ruben has combined his experience, knowledge, talent and expertise to represent Maryland residents with skill and dedication in a wide variety of areas of the law. Emma Bungard began with Ruben Law Firm during the summer of 2020. Her clear passion for helping others makes her an invaluable addition to the firm. Her main focus is family law, although she does still practice basic criminal law. Emma’s many years of experience offers all clients the highest level of legal counseling for any family law and criminal law need. From divorce, adoptions, and even custody, Emma has the experience and work ethic needed to exceed your expectations and deliver results.
She enjoys being able to help families find peace and move on with their lives after going through the legal phase. Emma moved from the UK to the United States in the early 90’s, and married another attorney in 2001. She currently has four children and devotes her free time to family. Emma also enjoys traveling when she can, and looks forward to traveling even more in the future.

Lexa Grobicki is an experienced marriage and family therapist with more than 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families through a variety of life transitions including divorce.
Her specialized training in relationships, families, and systems makes her uniquely qualified to help people navigate the divorce process and create a new life that works well for them. She has training in play therapy and structural therapy which she utilizes to support children in times of change.
Lexa graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2007 with her Master’s degree in Family Studies/Marriage and Family Therapy. She also completed her undergraduate degree there in 2005 majoring in Family Studies and Women’s Studies. Lexa is a board certified supervisor and a clinical fellow with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Kim Wells, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in working with individuals and families who may be experiencing anxiety, OCD, Depression, ADHD, and childhood/behavioral disorders.
Ms. Wells assists families as they go through life transitions, interpersonal issues, and overall adjustments to day to daily life. She further specializes in working with families and children who are experiencing separation/divorce, reunification with parents, and other visitation/custody concerns.
Ms. Wells works diligently to assist families so that children have healthy productive parents in their lives. Ms. Wells finds it a privilege to empower people in a non-judgemental way to find their “best life.”
Ms. Wells graduated Cum Laude, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the Texas Tech University. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has been a licensed socialworker in California and Maryland since 1998 and is a board certified supervisor. Ms. Wells has completed a two year certificate program in Psychoanalytic Therapy, has been trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, and has completed Mediation Training for Child Custody and Asset Distribution and is a Certified Parent Coordinator. She is anavid learner who continuously reads and attends trainings and workshops to further enhance her clinical skills.
